Meet the CEO of BLKGTV

Danielle Walker

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Danielle Walker has always strive to become an entrepreneur since the early age of eight. It started with odd jobs around the house, which soon led to braiding hair for extra cash. Becoming a Corporate Lawyer has always been a dream of hers, but it soon changed in her early semesters of college. Where she had the opportunity to intern for one of Atlanta's most prestigious law firms 'The Mosby Law Group'. Seeing and experiencing first hand the hectic-ness of running a law firm. Danielle decided that particular career field wasn't for her. Continuing to work two jobs and maintain being a full-time student. Danielle eventually realized working extremely hard wasn't something she wanted to do either. Later she found herself at a crossroad because she didn't have a plan B. With life experiences having their way with her and her motivation to make something of herself at it's peek. Danielle picked up her pen and did what she felt came natural to her. Today Ms. Walker is the owner of YJLM Publishing House, Black Girl Television Network, and The Layout Magazine. Optimistic for the future, you can guarantee she is ready to take on her next challenge in life. One day at a time.
